Junior Design Assistant
Palm Stallion is men's swimwear, designed and handmade on the Gold Coast with uncompromising attention to fit, craftsmanship and detail. We're looking for a Junior Design Assistant to help shape the collections to come.
The role
- Help with technical CADs in Adobe Illustrator
- Cut and sew rough toiles
- Take detailed notes during fit sessions
- Research and order swatches
- Help source models and scout shoot locations
- Film, create and edit content for Instagram and TikTok
A casual role on Friday afternoons, based at our Gold Coast studio. Real, hands-on experience across the whole process, from design concept to finished garment.
You'll bring
- A can-do attitude and a hunger to learn. Ideally you're studying fashion or recently graduated.
- Basic Adobe Illustrator skills
- The ability to read and cut patterns and use a domestic sewing machine
- Experience researching and building mood boards
- Basic video editing on a phone or in iMovie
- Happy to help keep the studio clean
- Available Friday afternoons
Nice to have: experience with CLO 3D.
